The province of Padua is the only area in Veneto with such a wide and diverse range of navigable river routes. As many as seven water routes, Brenta River, Piovego Canal, Bacchiglione River, Battaglia Canal, Bisato Canal, Pontelongo Canal, Brentella Canal, five of which are of high tourist value.
Created through collaboration among the companies authorized to navigate the river routes of Padua and the Brenta Riviera, the Consorzio Battellieri di Padova e della Riviera del Brenta is a point of reference for the Padua and Brenta river tourist service system. It carries out coordination, publicity, marketing, promotion and planning of river navigation development, offering image and quality assurance of services, information and logistical and organizational assistance.
